  • Far End of Beach

We didn't actually eat here as paying customers although we often had a drink when at this end of the bay. We and another English couple were invited by our dear Greek friend, Lampros the vineyard owner, to a meal here. With various gesturing we were led to believe we would be celebrating the christening of one of his grand children. Lampi put his...

  • Greece's Take-away.......

This was the first time we had seen this sign and we were tickled by it!! Greece's answer to the take-away service. Since then we have spotted this service on numerous occasions.

  • Denis's

This is where we ate nearly every night. I seem to remember both years we ate indoors, I'm not sure if this was because it was cold or for the indoor ambience. There was certainly plenty of that.Denis was a lovely, quietly spoken man who had an eye for the ladies. Both years we watched him in action!!The food was good, what I can remember, the...

  • Local Cuisine At It's Best!

A lovely view from a local taverna that served us with delicious food cooked in a wood oven. Would definitely recommend this one! We had a large selection of snacks - there was so much we wanted to try! All the usual Greek specialities were available. Our favourite was the giant beans - butter beans in a tomatoe, onion and green pepper sauce.

  • Yes, The Promised View is Good!

Said on it’s advertising boards along the hilly road before you reach it, to be the best view of the town of Zante. Probably true!Nice place to have a snack and hot or cold drink. Reached by car unless you are very energetic! Lovely Greek desserts and iced coffee!

  • fun for children

the food here is wonderful, there is a varied menu including pastas, steaks and pizzas in addition to Greek dishesthe service is excellent and the staff are friendly, but the best part of this restaurant if you have small children is the supervised play area with ball pond, bouncy castle and toys allowing you to have an after diner coffe in peace...

  • There is a lot of restaurants...

There is a lot of restaurants in Zakynthos, but I specialy liked the ones with the Greek specialties, like Kebab and Gyros.Very cheap!!! Like I said, for me the best meal was definitely a Gyros sandwich, with its sheep meat, slice of tomato and a piece of lettuce all covered in a white Tzaziki sauce, inside a little bit toasted bread.

  • The excellent traditional...

The excellent traditional Greek Restaurant 'Olympic Flame In an ancient greek surrounding, among Korinthian Columns, in the light of the Olympic Flame, you will enjoy the Dionyssian Wines and the flavours that only tasted by the Olympian Gods. Stay for an unforgettable lunch or dinner in this friendly and pleasent atmosphere!I certainly liked it!
