Dear friends and visitors to Syros,
Iwelcome you to Hermoupolis, the capital city of the
prefecture of Syros and seat of the Diocese of Syros.
During your visit to our beautiful Island, you will have the

On these sacred grounds you will be able to admire the

sublime and esthetic church handicraft, sacred articles and
treasures which inspire spiritual enchantment and emotion.
Today, the Churches of Syros are embellished with the diligence

loyalty and virtue in all sectors of spiritual, pastoral and
charitable work of the church. They await your arrival to extend
their hospitality and to guide you to the ancestral church

and values of the Orthodox Church.
This small publication is a concise religious guide of the
Orthodox Churchs of the Island, since in Syros we have our
