    The restaurant is brand new and it is located next to Neorion. The terrace of the restaurant has an amazing view.

    Favorite Dish: We ate:
    1) Stuffed fresh squids
    2) Shrimps
    3) fresh red mullets
    4) dried mackerel
    5)lobster with spaghetti
    6) salads
    We drunk greek red wine and french white wine.

    This store is located on a narrow street, half a block from the pier where the ferries drop off the passengers. Ask anyone for "Athymaritis" and they will tell your where it is (a couple of minutes walk from the ferries).It is a small pastry store but it is a feast for the eyes and for the taste.     There are many little industries around the island and shops everywhere selling traditional desserts, the most well known of all are lukumia. a box of small bites of lukumia for 1,5 euros, it is not that expensive.

    Kini is a nice village, 10 km from Ermoupolis. To take the most from this short excursion you need to visit the nearby Delfini beach. But you have to do it by foot or enduro bike! the road is very bad!

    of great importance, this late 19th century theatre was made as a replica of the famous Milan Opera house.The entrance is 2 euros, there is a small exchibition of items of famous artists from Syros, if you are lucky you will be able to follow a play too.

    One of the largest in the world (!) as they say, the magnificent town hall of Ermoupolis, mark of old times of prosperity It is exactly what the photo shows, what I miss. to turn from the coast by car or bike and see this incredible view.


    The construction was financed by the state and the city .Nowadays, the building houses offices of the Municipality of Ermoupolis, Courts and other public services. By a Ministerial Decree of 1980, the building was considered to be a work of art.This is a picture of the entrance of the Town Hall.
