Really good clubs (Koo club, Enigma, Tithora ) and you know in Greece the night ends at 07:00am.The famous 'Franco's' with classical music and sofas at which you lie and watch the endless blue horizon...

Address: Fira
Our first night in Fira just a few VTers had arrived. The boats with the sailing crew were due to arrive the next day. Gillian (Gillybob) arranged a premeeting VT meeting for the early arrivers at the Tropical Bar. When we arrived we found a deck with a beautiful view, but only imported beer and a lady bar tender from California. Not much of a Greek adventure. So we ventured out to the streets and came across The Friendly Greek Tavern. The small group of us ventured into this open air taverna and found our home for next three nights. We told everyone about our experience the next day. So on night two "G" and a large group of other VTers joined us at the tavern. Only they were already closed when we arrived. But no fear. The waiter ran after us and offered to reopen just for our group. As you can see from the picture of night two we had quite a party and they sold us many beers. By day three the story grew and most of the VTers on the island decided to join us that evening at the Friendly Greek Tavern. It was quite a party. There was even a little singing and a little Greek dancing. You can see Galatea who helped organize the Santorini meeting joining us in the fun in the third picture. Checking out the last picture its obvious the owners grew to love us and also love to watch us spend our money. A great experience all three nights.

There are quite a few popular night clubs in Fira. We enjoyed Town Club the best, mostly because of the patio in the back that was spacious and not as noisy or congested as some of the other places. They avoid cheesy Euro techno that some other places choose for a good selection of fun popular music. Their drinks are similar in style and price to other places in the same area. A nice place to hang out or dance.

Murphy's claims to be an Irish Bar, but the only thing Irish about it are the decorations. The music is loud rap, rock & techno....the bartenders are Greek and the waitresses are from everywhere.
I was in Fira in early June and this was the most happening bar in town. Lots of fun, but not very big & gets crowded. Went there 3 nights in a row & it was fun every time.
