Luggage and bags: Take one small suitcase with good wheels, one handbag and one rucksack or beach bag.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Sunglasses, flip-flops, thin cotton spaghetti tops, skirts, dresses, shorts, sunhat. No trousers or warm clothes with sleeves needed in the middle of summer, unless you need to cover up because you had a sunburn...
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Lots of strong sun tan lotion and insect repellent, otherwise toiletries can be bought at any super market.
Photo Equipment: Digital camera.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Swim gear.
Miscellaneous: Don't worry if you have forgotten anything from home, you can get everything that's needed for a holiday at your local super market or at Naxos town.

Luggage and bags: Make sure you don't have huge and heavy bags with you because you will probably have trouble carrying them at the boat, maybe pay more at the taxi...and lets hope that you won't have to carry them on foot.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring with you something warm for the nights. The nights on the island can get quite chilly specially because of the humidity.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: If there is a special medication you are using make sure you take enough for the whole holidays because some medications can't be provided from the pharmacies without a Naxos doctors prescription which are not easy to get.
Photo Equipment: Make sure you have a digital camera with you and enough memory cards, printing pictures in Naxos is a little bit expensive.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Let see....for sure you will need Sun Cream, Mosquito Repellent and if i were you....i would also take with me a snorkel.
Miscellaneous: If you are coming from countries with different electricity supplying make sure you are taking with you an adapter. Greece has 220 Volts.
If you are a internet fan like myself, you should consider taking your laptop with you since most hotels provide WiFi (Wireless Internet) nowadays.

Luggage and bags: One good sturdy suitcase on wheels because when you arrive in Naxos harbour you will have to walk from the ferry to where the taxis are waiting and this is about 5 mins walk.
One small rucksack that will be handy in all sort of circumstances and can hold all your immediate neccesities.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If walking you will need a good walking boot as some of the terrain you may cover will be very rocky.
A sandal would be nice for the warmer weather and if walking around in town.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sunblock and arnica ointment for sore muscles.
Photo Equipment: If using digital camera make sure you have enough disk space, if you run out like I did you can empty your card on a cd for 5 euro in the papershop on the promenade and you can fill your card all over again.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: In your rucksack while walking all you need is water. The island's water is very nice and you can easily get bottled water in towns but you need to take your supply for your walk as there are no shops on the usual walking trails. A small snack such as a banana is good if the walk takes you longer than a few hours. (talking from personal experience).
Sunglasses, sunhat.
Miscellaneous: If you are a cotton hanky user then take some as when you walk in the wind (which we did), your nose and eyes will start to water a lot and you will need your hanky!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: This happens to me everytime I go away. I always pack too much. And I did it again this time. I learned, though...Here's all you need for Naxos, or any Greek Island for that matter. A bathing suit, a tank top or two, a pair of shorts, and sandals. That's it. (at least for the guys)
