Aliko and Pyrgaki are the last beaches you can join without big quads in the southern part of the island.
They are isolated, wonderful beaches with crystal water: a Paradise!
This Early Christian church lies near the village of Moni.
The interior wall surfaces have wall paintings of various phases; from the end of the 6th and the beginning of the 7th centuries.
Home to two museums and a lot of interesting walkways, pretty views, and stray cats! One of the museum also hosts concerts featuring traditional arts and culture.
This is a relatively big island with more to see internally. Rent a motor bike and wizz around the island, checking out some of the othe towns and beautiful views.
Whitewashed churches with blue domes are the hallmark of the Cyclades, and Naxos has lots of them. This one was right on the main road in the mountains between Apiranthos and Apollon.
Picturesque houses and shops can be found
in Naxos Town. They are in the area of the Castle and the Old Market. What a joy to just stroll along the small alleys!!
