Plenty To Do In Parikia: Paros

Parikia's a colourful place by night. The backstreets come alive with colourful and stylish shops and trendy cafes & bars, while the 3km long waterfront is all tavernas, cafes and bars!Our favourite nightspot was Pebbles, on the front not too far from the ferry dock, which has a small balcony overlooking the sea and the promenade below. It served a mean cocktail at a not-too-expensive price and had good music (when the TV wasn't showing a Euro 2008 game). The Pirate Bar was also good, with great Jazz & Blues music. Everywhere was very colourful, with tasteful lighting and often soft, coloured drapes and comfortable looking furniture. It was also all very relaxed and quiet, though admittedly it wasn't quite peak season when we went (mid-June).

Kos, Ios, and Mykonos had great nighlife for people who are looking for the bar scence. Mykonos nighlife doesn't really get started until 2 a.m. so if you are used to going out earlier you might want to get prepared!
