    I bought a pair of leather sandals in California that were stamped made in Greece. They were very comfortable new and got even better with age by stretching and molding to my feet. They soon became my favorite sandals so I wanted buy more in different colors,But When I went back to the store it was no longer in business, I also had no luck finding them on the Internet. So I was very happy when I found N.Vlanchos Leather Shop in Santorini, they make those handmade sandals and sold them for less than 20 Euro a pair.When walking the many steps and uneven cobble paths of Santorini under the bright Greek sun, comfortable sandals are a must. But they are also my favorite sandals back home in California where they can be dressed up or down and are the next best thing to going barefoot.

    It is a "paradise" for people who want to have cheap, but even much more expensive souvenirs. Tourist shops can be found everywhere, especially in the capital, Fira, a reason that makes it not as attractive as the other villages...
    Artshops, jewelleries, shops with local products offer you many chances to spend money. Well, in Santorini this is not difficult...

    It depends on the season, generally the prices are high. It would be a very good idea if you could avoid being there in the summer, especially in August...

    The town of Fira has all the basic shops required with a couple of small supermarkets, a bookshop (with some English titles) and the various other necessary bits and bobs but most of the main street is very upscale arts and craft, jewelry and designer clothes shops aimed, I should imagine, at the cruise shoppers who stop off for the day. However there are some interesting ones and here's one that caught my eye:
