It is situated at Kastro and has one of the best verandas of the island that offers you a spectacular view during the sunset. You can see from here Antiparos and Kimolos Islands. Thodoris and Irini, the owners of Iliovasilema will welcome you from the morning by offering you coffee or breakfast. For meal i suggest you to try its lamp, “Favokeftedes” and drink local wine. You should also try rakomelo and the sweets. Thodoris is also a pastry maker. There are also some rooms for rent.
When we visited Sikinos for the 1st time in Sept 2005 , we stayed in Aloprinia and found
out that there was only one remaining resto opened this late in the season .
This worried us a bit , since we planned to stay for 4-5 days on Sikinos .
Following our 1st visit at Meltemi , we had no more worries . The place is operated
by a husband and wife team ; he waits on tables she cooks mainly traditional dishes .
The food is tasty , fresh but the menu is small and reapeated often ( in fact , there is no
menu , the man explains the 3 or 4 choices available and takes your order )
Prices very reasonable ( arond 20E for 2 with wine )
