This bar is a comfortable place, in which, my husband and I, spent a few agreeable hours.
Here, one cans drink good cocktails, hears music, and comfortably relax.
The cocktails are delightfully and inexpensive and the personnel is hospitable and funny.

That fish is fresh and is prepared on the place.

The service is unobjectionable and the personnel hospitable.
There are very good meals and drinks, many assortments of seafood.

It is a comfortable restaurant, directly at the sea with an agreeable atmosphere, good meal and very good wine.
We have eaten a fish plate, and a Mousaka. They were exquisite!

All other restaurants were rather empty... as the place was generally very quiet. Many people blamed the Olimpics but I'm not sure if it was the real reason. I've heard that there are less and less people coming to Rhodes every year as the prices are rising and the standard is keeping the level low.

I think it's impossible to eat any warm plate when it's so hot around. You should take some typical greek specialties of course. I had a greek salad, tzatziki, fresh break with olive oil and a barrel of cold water. I couldn't really understand an American couple sitting next to us and having hamburger with fries.

When we first came to Rhodes, Paulo worked behind the reception of the Hotel Oasis. He bought the land next door and opened his own bar/resteraunt. Over the years it has changed slightly, with the 'bar' part declining and the resteraunt prospering.
It's not the cheapest Taverna around, but the food certainly is good and Paulo and his family are very friendly and helpful. So, if you're passing Afandou on the main road to Lindos, why not call in and pay them a visit.
Stifado is my favorite.
Pistachio, Muscles in Garlic Sauce, Souvlaki,
some stuff with meat and peppers in that we can't remember the name of,
Apple Pie, Yoghurt and Honey with nuts, mousakka, Giouvetsi, Lamb Chops, Salads.
Paulo's cheesey balls are particularly nice.. Here, you can find a romantic atmosphere and you can hear a good classic music.

This little inn, with terrace is placed next to the church of Siana.
It is a popular place to eat, and to enjoy the quietly of the village.
The small restaurant offers a large number of natural products, very delicious and good presented.
The “Tsatsiky” offered in this tavern is the best of the whole island, and the speciality of the restaurant is the “Honey yogurt”.
All the products are home-produced.
The owners of the tavern are very friendly and hospitable.
