After walking round the museum for nearly two hours we needed a much earned rest and a cool drink so popped in here. Its nice and shady with plenty of tables and a good selection of snacks, drinks and ice creams.Great view of the street, watching the locals go about their business and helpful staff(waiter took my picture).A really nice cafe.
Favorite Dish: We just had drinks here

We happened to notice the special steak offer of the restaurant Victoria. As soon as waiters noticed our eyes, we already were sitting in the busy restaurant with menus. We ordered beef steak with mushroom sauce which was brought very quickly. The steak was probably below average but we could see around us on other tables that this was a real a la carte restaurant and the offer was obviously done to attract more visitors. The vegetables were of high quality and service was close to perfect but there was a reason why this steak was an offer. We were generally satisfied with service and surrounding, this place is nice but not romantic because tables are so close to each other that you feel like having a dinner with people at the next table.
Favorite Dish: We do not have any favourite dish but if you lack something to do on your vacation, you can go to one day course as a helper in the kitchen :) (see the website of the restaurant Victoria)

The Pink Panther is one of the exclusive cake restaurants which line the road in front of Nea Agora. The Waiter's in each restaurant will try their best to lure you in but the real winners are the fantastic looking cakes which are on display. We opted for the Pink Panther and were lucky enough to have a 'harbourside view' well it was if you ignored the main road next to us!! I have to admit, the cake I had was delicious and the others were mostly satisfied with theirs. The real shock came when the bill arrived - everything was double the price of other restaurants in Rhodes but I suppose you do pay for the Harbour view!

The Garden restaurant is situated just off the main shopping street of Socratous. Compared to the hustle and bustle of this street, this lovely little cafe-bar provides a great place to relax. The seating area is set out amidst mature shrubs and palm trees with some lovely water features and ornate pots to complete the setting. We just called in for a drink this time but I would love to call in again & try out some of the food.
Oh yes, don't forget to say hello to the lovely green parrott on your way out!!

We happened upon this lovely little restaurant just by chance and were very pleased that we did. It is situated half way down Sokratous Street which one of the main shopping streets in the Old Town. There is a lovely restaurant area inside but we chose to sit outside in a charming little alleyway. The waiter was attentive and friendly, service was really good too. I had the Mousakka which was really good and probably the best I'd tasted while in Rhodes.

Kontiki is a classy floating Restaurant-bar located in Mandraki Harbour. It is a fantastic modern establishment with the restaurant area on the lower floor and the bar upstairs. We called in here for a drink after a lovely stroll around the harbour. There is a lovely outdoor seating area which gives a panoramic view of Mandraki harbour; from the left you have the Grand Masters Palace, the Deer guarding the entrance to the harbour right ahead and Agios Nikalaos fort and the Medieval windmills to your left. I have to say, this is one of the best places to sit and watch the world (and ships) go by!!
We didn't have anything to eat here but the menu looks really nice. I don't think it's the cheapest place to eat in Rhodes town but if you were looking for somewhere special to eat I have no doubts, this is the place to go!

Dining in Alexis-4-Seasons was a pleasant and tasty experience.
Leaving the hustle-bustle of Aristotelous Street and entering the back garden of a small private house was a pleasure.
Our menu consisted of various fish and seafood dishes, which were all delicious.
The owner and the staff were very friendly. The owner told us that the house used to be part of the Jewish Quarter of the old city, and told tus he story of the family who used to live there until WWII.

In Rhodes I booked half board, so the dinner was included in the price I paid for my holiday. The breakfast at my hotel was buffet style and Iusually eat a lot in the morning. For this reason during my stay on the island I only had some Greek salad for lunch. Once I had meat and fried potatoes. This is the reason why I am not able to recommend any restaurant in Rhodes and on other areas of the island.
Anyway if you feel hungry and you are near the port you could go inside the Nèa Agora. The translation of this term is new market. Here you can find a good choice of restaurants, cafes, various shops and the toilets.

We were strolling in the street of Rodos town looking for a Greek restaurant at the right location: On a nice street, not too noisy but not too quiet, not on the main square, with no hustling by the waiters... and we found Sarris, which was just right.
The menu was varied and contained all the usual Greek staples. The food was tasty, and the service was very friendly despite it being the busy tourist season. We sat outside and enjoyed the evening air, the nice atmosphere and watching the tourists go by. There was also indoor seating. The toilets were spotless.
