It's like Paradise for water sport enthusiasts. Rhodes offers a fantastic opportunity for those, who like to try something little different. On an island as hospitable as Rhodes, sports are a big pleasure. Sea sports collect plenty people, both local and foreigner, on the beaches to enjoy the bounty of nature and the hot sun.

It is possible to go swimming in Rhodes town there are beaches either side of the tip of the town. They are not the best on the island of Rhodes but are adequate and sunbeds and parasols can be hired for the day.
This is Elli beach near the Casino in Rhodes.

The beach around the tip of the island - New Town Beach on the western side of Rhodes is a bit more windier - better for surfing activites. Again sunbeds and parasols are available.
