My tip - if you're in Skiathos town, find a taverna of restaurant, have a nice meal, a few drinks... then head to the pool-side bar where you're staying for an ouzo nightcap. Bars outside the town tend to be fairly relaxed about when they stop serving drinks.
Surely it's nicer being outside listening to Bob Marley, sipping ouzo, than being cooped up in a sweaty club with overweight middle-aged tourists, listening to Usher?
Pool table = added bonus!
Very casual everywhere. A couple of Daffyd (only gay in the village) type dressers heading to the clubs in Skiathos town... crikey. Sit outside on comfortable seats, have a drink and enjoy until early in the morning.
If loud music is not for you, there are a lot of bars at the harbour (close to where the ferrys leave) where you can sit outside.
They also have music, but not quite as loud.
Skiathos Town will keep old and young people happy!

 Skiathos Promenade by Night by dimilag
The main concentration of nightclubs is in the warren of streets west of Papadiamandis. On the street opposite the post office is the Blue Chips Club. Farther along Papadiamandis, another turn to the left leads to Borzoi, which you may want to check out several times during the evening, as it generally gets livelier toward midnight. Continue past it to find the Admiral Benbow Club, which offers something a bit quieter. Across from Admiral Benbow Club is flashy Spartacus. At the next intersection south you'll find Kirki.
Wander back down the main street to find Kentavros Bar, on the left beyond the Papadiamandis House, which plays classic rock and jazz.
On the far west end of the harbor, if you want sports with your drinks, try Oasis Cafe; if there's a game of any sort going on, it'll be on the tube. Meanwhile, at the far eastern end of the harbor are a few clubs popular with the younger set -- among them, Remezzo and Rock 'n' Roll Bar. Theme: Other

Ouzo - the rather herbal traditional Greek alcoholic drink, it's a bit of an acquired taste. If you're lucky, you'll get some free after your meal in the more traditional Greek tavernas.
Other spirits - expensive. Not sure why. About 5.50 Euros for rum and coke, ouch.
Wine - very cheap and very nice. Can usually get a small glass for 1.60 Euros. Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and DrinkingDirections: Skiathos has tavernas and bars coming out of its metaphorical ears.
