We tried a lot of tavernas, but this one had the most authentic Greek food, just wonderful!
Very nice and quick service and in good location for people watching as well.
Prices are very reasonable and portions are just right.

FANTASTIC TRADITIONAL GREEK DISHES LIKE MOUSAKA STUFFED VEGETABLES(THE BEST IN THE ISLAND).I TRAVEL FOR MANY YEARS IN ALL THE ISLANDS IN GREECE BUT I NEVER HAVE SEE AGAIN SO FANTASTIC FOOD AND HOSPITALITY FROM THE STUFF AND THE OWNERS.
THE HOMEMADE PIZZAS ARE DELICIOUS,AND ALSO THE LOCAL RED WINE IS SO NICE.DON 'T MISS TO TRY THE TRADITIONAL GARLIC BREAD FOR STARTER IS VERY VERY GOOD,AND ALSO THE MANY KINDS OF THE SOUPS THAT THEY HAD IN THE MENU.ALSO ASK THE OWNERS LABROS AF MICHAEL FOR THE MANY CHOICES THAT YOU HAVE ABOUT THE SEAFOOD,IF YOU WANT LOBSTER OR A STRANGE FISH YOU CAN EAT THERE BUT YOU MUST TO ORDER MOBY A DAY BEFORE.I WAIT TO GO BACK IN "THE VILLAGE" THE SUMMER OF 2007.

You can choose to eat inside or out - outside in the restaurant's courtyard, or, as we did, literally on the street. The outer of the building is beautifully lit.
The food is truly excellent. I think I had a carbonara washed down with some continental Amstel (why does it always taste better outside Britain?). Pretty good value for money, but probably slightly more than average for Skiathos. Squid is far easier to eat as Kalamari - usually served as a starter and simliar looking to onion rings.
Also served as a main course, it's a bit more of a challenge. Especially the chopping off the legs bit. Yum.

There is plenty of choice in Aghia Paraskevi for a good meal. Platanias Taverna, Jimmys and the Orsa on the main road all offer traditional food at a reasonable price. Off the main road, the Pegasus and Kalma also offer exceptional value.
