ALKMINI APTS.: TIME TO BULLDOZE
AWH Says: The Alkmini apts, can best be descibed as a building waiting for a bulldozer! The apartments have seen better days, very shabby, and in need of refurbishment if the bulldozer was held back. The services are almost non-existant. The staff were the most uncaring people we have...
There was no nightlife in Tholos, other than eating in the very many Restaurnts/Bars.
We found the Sunset Bar was very good, but wherever you ate in the evening, the Mosquitos were a pest. The women in particular were attacked, despite repellents etc. Trousers are needed for the women at night!
Dress Code: The only place where there was any dress code was in the Dorita Beach Hotel, which had a buffet restaurant. We did not eat here, as it was too much like a Pontins holiday camp!

Tholos is only half an hour away from the Airport. This is good in some respects, but not in others. If you want to get a taxi to Tholos, it only costs 10 Euros. The Airport is the best we have so far...
