Favorite thing: This is a picture of the famous crown, the crown with the cross on top not entirely perpendicular, the crown all Hungarians know about and get excited about when they see it. If you pay attention to it, you see it everywhere. So, for example here in Stephen's Basilica. But also in many statues and the real thing that is saved in the Matthew Church.

Like almost every other great capital, this one has a big cathedral. They start to all look the same but this one has a nice square and is truly centrally located.
It has a remarkable view point from the roof top and from the cupola. Take time to climb the stairs and see the view. It is worth it. You can see Budapest 360 degrees from up here.

Favorite thing: This is a small church in a cave. This cave is in front of the Gellert Hills. In front of the cave you will find this great monument.
