This small pub is situated in a basement in Huszar utca (near Keleti palyaudvar - Eastern Station). Its furniture is quite common in city pubs - a simple tree table and benches. But it still gives a special atmosphere to the place - just, please, mind the steps! :)
It's a really pleasant place to kill time before your train departs - or just to have a drink when walking around, for example after taking a look at Eastern Station and the wonderful church on Rozsak tere (Roses' Square).
Favorite Dish: Let's see what is a must in Obester.
First of all, their speciality is Absinth - but to tell the truth, I've never tried it in Obester. I prefer beer anyway, and their beer is really something you must taste.
Of course, you might not want to drink alcohol - then just have a coke, 'cause what really matters is the 'beer skate': bread-and-dripping (bread with fat) with onion and the 'pogacsa' with cheese!

This great little bar has great Pilsner Urquell and a small nibble menu, both of which are great. The clientele range from students to young professionals and at ft 560 for a Korso of pilsner and ft440 for a Korso of Dreher a night here will not break the bank.

It's a wonder that these wine bars are still existing! I really hope that they'll never disapper. But... the developing is for developing. So visit quickly there before it's too late! Usually you may find the door going downstairs from the street, to the cellar.
Favorite Dish: Best wines famous areas.

Can´t remember the names, but there have been a few good ones. If you are looking for a beer, try a Borozo, a beer bar. The Hungarian cuisine is spicy. Peppers are added to many dishes.....
