A tribute to a native Hungarian, Franz Liszt, one of the greatest composer of the Romantic Period. This statue is situated in front of the Opera House.
On either side of the entrance to the Opera House, there are statues of Hungary's most important composers - Franz Liszt and Ferenc Erkel. The one in the picture is Liszt.
It's worth visiting Budapest's neo-Renaissance opera house for the lavish interior..
It is a must see place if you are traveling Budapest
