The neo-Gothic Parliament building , an imposing example of fin-de-siecle , historicizing and eclectic architecture. A visit is an absolutely must in my opinion.

A excursion through the Parliament building is possible when you are in a organized group . There are several agencies who can arrange this , check in your hotel or at tourist information office.

They wanted the biggest parliament in the world. It's still the second one in size i think. Desire for greatness.

Maybe the most famous building of Budapest is the parliament. It´s situated on the banks of the Danube and it´s so beautiful with all the little towers etc.

Parliament - a classic case of Neo-Gothic and Baroque architecture styles. Entry to the parliament is restricted and I believe it's granted only on a group tour basis.

Dominating the skyline of Pest, this grand building with its neo-Gothic dome offers tours in English.

This huge néo-gothic building was completed in 1904.
The guided tour is approximately 30 minutes and it's free for the U.E résidents.(passport or I.C)

Very impressive building, seen best from the Danube, while taking a boat trip, and from the Buda's hills. This picture is taken from Elizabeth bridge so it shows only the lateral.

The Parliament of Budapest is one of the major sights of Budapest because of it's very distinct architecture and also it's location, ie right next to the river Danube.
