Everytime when you walk a long the Danube river, near the big hotels and bridges, he will be there waiting for you to step over to hi, and sit near him for a few seconds... can you gues who im talking about??
Yes... it is the little sweet boy with the clown hat that siting on the barrier just above the tram rails... so next time when you go next to him remember that he will always be there fore you for anything you need....
When you walk alongside the Danube on the Pest side, you'll probably see him witting there just as always.. Apart from that stretch being a nice part to walk as it is almost a boulevard.. he is just waiting for us vistors to notice him...
Walk the Danube corso. This is the most touristic place (along with the parallel 'Váci utca') of Budapest, so I'm sure you won't miss it.
Amongst the scenic view of Buda Castle Hill, there are more things to find here, like the bronze sculpture of the little princess sitting on the fence. A great opportunity to take a photo of you on her side ;-)
I feel this little sculpture for Budapest is something like 'manaken pis' for Brussels, however, our little fellow is not as famous, we don't dress her, and she doesn't feel the urge...
As you continue walking south from Roosevelt ter along the Danube, you will see the statue of the Little Princess. It was placed on a railing in 1989 and was designed by Laszlo Marton.
Walking down Danube river between Chain and Elizabeth Bridge you meet this little boy. I met him only once but he's said be always there...
Between Chain and Erszebet bridges you will see a sculpture of a lovely boy, who is always there whether it is a snow, rain or a hot sun...
The Little Prince
In Budapest are a lot of bronze statues, this one I liked very mutch (I do not mean the person with the violin!)I thought is very sweet.
