VIDEOTON is one of the most popular soccer teams in Hungary. The team finished 2nd in the UEFA CUP after loosing the final against Real Madrid in 1985. Almost half way between Budapest and lake Balaton, lake Velence attracts the travellers with its sparkling water-surface richly covered with islands of reed and coninuous reed stretches and on its northern shore with gently emerging mountains and slopy hills. The lake with its 26 km surface ranks the third biggest natural still water in Hungary. Its favourable geographic and climatic features, its high number of sunny hours, its water suitable for open-air bathing, water-sports and fishing, as well as its surroundings for hiking, make the lake Velence a popular resort

Gánt, Bauxite-mine. Gánt is a little village around Székesfehérvár. You can reach the formally bauxite mine on road 7 (not M7, which is the highway), see the map. This place is really beautiful in the sunset, it's like a martian afternoon. Take 5, chill out, and enjoy how the rocks are turning to deep red!

The small Punter lake is situated in the park which is northwest of the old core of the town. It is rowing and boating resort of the town.
