Besides visiting the abbey in Pannonhalma, I discovered a glass gallery at 50 meter from the abbey ticket office.
Nobody tells you to go there but it was a wonderfull surprise:

Beautifull gallary with real high quality contemporary and classical glass art.
Beautiful glass windows made by the founder of the gallery, L. Hefter,
and glass sculptures made by Hungarian glass artists.
Almost everything is for sale and a great place to buy gifts, as they have glass jewelry and small art objects!!!!

I really recommend everyone to go there.

A great opportunity to combine the beautiful abbey with modern art!

Book collection of Pannonhalma

The abbey’s 19th century classical library with its 350 thousand volumes is one of Europe’s richest monastery libraries. The most valuable pieces of the collection are the incunabula and codices. Its stock of manuscripts boasts unparalleled treasures relating to the Hungarian Church and world culture.
