About 10 km-s from Hajduboszormeny there is a lake which is quite good for swimming. The lake is fed by the river Theis, so it's water isn't crystal clear, but a bit muddy. In an average day, there aren't so many people here, that's why I like it to swim: I don't need to care about people, I can just swim. After swimming, you can relax in the shadows of trees or eat an ice cream or a Langos (fried pasta made of potato, with sour cream and cheese) The place is very cheap too.
The best way to go here is by bicycle: you can get there in 30 minutes. 1/4th of the road is dirt road, so don't try it in rainy days! See the map on my personal website!

There is a very good thermal water in our town, the same as in Hajduszoboszlo. There is a quite good but a bit small open air swimming pool in our town. There is a big 2 m deep sport pool, a small playing pool with 1,2 m depth, a nice pool with the hot Bocskai thermal water, and a pool for children. The whole open air pools are surrounded by trees. You can play voleyball, badminton and soccer if you get bored with swimming. A ticket costs about 300-500 Ft. In winter you can try the indoor swimming-pool with a sauna in it.
