Szentendre is a village I really enjoyed exploring on foot!
The elderly and people with walking difficulties may find it quite difficult, as to reach the top of the hill is a steep climb up many steps. If your asthmatic, remember to bring your "puffer" along and to use it!
The streets are all cobblestoned and look great, but not great for wearing stiletto heals - wear sensible shoes so you don't sprain an ankle. As they are so old, the cobblestones are un-even and some has sunk, so take care when walking.
- Hiking and Walking
There can be a biiig and long traffic jam on the roads back to Budapest (after long weekends, or summer weekends) because lot of families have weekend houses in this area.
