Letter I wrote to the management of Kincem Park

Dear János Kocsi or responsible management,
We visited the Kincsem Horse Park last Saturday for my daughter, Clara 10th
Birthday party with a group of 18 people and 16 of us had a meal in the resteraunt
at 5pm which I booked before. The service and the food were very good as the many times I visited over the years. Unfortunately at 7pm after we had finished eating the food and the birthday cake, we left the table, standing 6 metres away outside where
I was smoking a cigarette with other guests, but still with our table in view.On returning to the table my digital camera(Model Canon Power Shot 530A) with a 1GB micro SD memory card) had been removed from the table.
At first I thought my daughter or one of her friends had taken it with them or
possibly one of the parents put it somewhere safe. I asked the waiters if they had seen it maybe twice. we had to leave at 7.30pm to drive guests to the train station
in Nagykáta for the 8pm train to Budapest and others were travelling on to the Lake Balaton. On arriving in Nagykáta, I checked all the bags and all the guests were asked about my camera, and one of our group saw a waiter take the camera when
he was clearing the table. I was watching the area where we were eating and there were no other guests who went to the table except my daughter and her 2 friends.
I only saw the young waiter who served us go to the table.
The pictures and video on the camera, are of great importance to me as my daughter will move to Brussels in September to go to school and the only record of
the whole day.I have a house in Nagykáta but work in Budapest where I have a flat.
Also I would like to bring to your attention with our bill, we had to pay for 9 whole portions + 6 half portions, calculated as 12 portions in total + drinks.I was in a hurry but trusted your staff to give me the correct bill. From the amount due 3 guests paid themselves so this amount should have been deducted from my bill, 16,200 Huf +
3,500 Huf for drinks. I told the waiter before paying that 3 guests would pay, it was written 25,100 Huf and I gave the waiter around 28,000 Huf, I noticed the difference
the next morning. I sent an sms to your mobile number 06-20-9329930 given in your brochure, but recieved no reply and also left my mobile phone number with the staff
to call me if they found the camera.
I will have to make a police report tomorrow unless I hear something from you,
when and how I can get back the camera and the 5,400 Huf I was overcharged.
I am my guests have always enjoyed visiting Kincsem Park and always have recommended it to the English speaking ex-pats in Budapest and my Hungarian
friends, so I hope we can resolve this issue as soon as possible.
My Hungarian is very limited so I hope you accept me writing in English.
I will also offer a reward for the return of my camera.
Yours Sincerely
Timothy Vale
