Reflections on the Hungarian cuisineMy dear readers, let me, the author of this article, make a subjective statement: I love my cuisine. My Hungarian cuisine. Not everybody is aware of it but according to a non-official rating, Hungarian cuisine is among the first three cuisine of the world: the first is the French, the second one is the Chinese and the third one is……………yes, you guess it. It is the Hungarian cuisine. This rating primarily refers to the richness and harmony of flavours. The typically traditional Hungarian kitchen was characterised by spicy foods rich in calorie and carbo-hydrates in the recent past. Most foods were made with lard and the foods didn’t lack the rightly famous onions and Hungarian paprika.
