Some information about Kiraly Bath in Budapest

by jeanfinney

The Kiraly is an old Ottoman bath; it is a bit rundown but it has a lot of effective if antiquated therapeutic pools, steams, and showers. It is also the only bath, as far as I know, that separates the sexes, if you prefer that. Mondays and Wednesdays are for women, Sunday is mixed, and the other days are for men, and it seems that it is quite a gay scene. (I am a lady, this is what I have read.)
