Just walk around the center of the town.In the evening everyhting gets a special colors,and a special spirit of ages....
Everything looks diferent from the day vew.
Just simply walk around and enjoy yourself!

There 3 big supermarkets in Koszeg (i mean the main shops).Match,Plus and Penny. The cheapest one is Penny and i guess the bigest one, but it is quite far away from the center, close to the train station.
Match is the smallest one, and the most expensive, but there 2 shops around center area.
It is easy to find all of these shops, since there a signs with the diraction and address.But they are all situated t at the main road, which goes through the all town.

What to buy: All kind of food.

In front of a number of homes are chairs or tables with flowers,fruit or vegetables for sale.There are slips of paper showing the price and small boxes or cans to drop your coins in.I bought some delighful cherries.

I think the main danger ,if we can name it so is that hungarian people in general don't speak foreing languages, especially in such small places like Koszeg.It is not a big problem, but still I defenetly recommend to buy a dictionary or at least to know some most useful phrases and words.People are frendly and helpfull, but when you can't even guess what do they mean:)you can have some misunderstandings

If you travel in June is possible to eat some cherries from the many trees on streets.And there are a lot around:outskirsts and countryside.
It is June the best month to come here,in my opinion.Long,sunny days;big lime trees with their yellowish,scented flowers everywhere..

Favorite thing: you walk to this square,through hero's gate (hosok kapu),built after the 1532 siege when captain mildos jurisich and his small troop held out against 200.000 turks,keeping them from reaching vienna...this event occured at 11 am (on the 30th of august)....

Fondest memory: it's the reason why kozseg bells ring at 11am
instead of 12!!!
