Wander around the small town centre of Heviz and you will find a pedestrian area full of shops selling clothes, swim wear and touristy things as well as cafés and a market in a side street. On the way to the small market I came across this steam engine and some signals!!

We stopped at Kalocsa and visited the paprika museum and explored the town. Interesting place and they serve the best cake at the hotel opposite the church

The museum is built next to an archeological site. a lot of work has gone into the museum.

The lookout tower at Lake Balaton with the bat "homes" on the side. I was not too happy about that one, don't quite like the little creatures.

This blue church just to the north of the centre is quite eyecatching. I like the style of Hungarian churches in stark contrast to the usual baroque ones you find dotted all over Europe.
