    Take a bath in 30°C

In Héviz, just outside Keszthely, you can take a bath in thermal sources. A craterlake is made into a heathcentre. The water is coming straight up out of the earth and is always, in summer and wintertime between 28 and 30°C. Every 28 hours the water is totally refreshed, in a natural way.

The mud that is coming out of this lake is a little bit radioactive, but a way that is not bad for you, but even healthy. Especially for people with illnesses of nerves and muscules the mud is very good.

The Pethoe-house (or Goldmark-house) was not easy to find because it's located behind an inconspicuous gate in the pedestrian zone. (Kossuth u. 20)

This building is of mediaeval origin, it was rebuilt in the 18th century. The composer Karoly Goldmark was born here in 1830
