Misty bottom fall

Favorite thing: The bottom part of the fall produces quite a lot of water mist, that produces amazing light reflections. However, the mist can be extremely pervasive, even when you are quite far from the water so make sure all equipment that doesn't like water is properly covered.

The outcrop leading close to the water

Favorite thing: There is a covered outcrop between the two falls that enables you to get close to the top part. Don't hesitate to do so but be carefull, the pathway is very slippery and you really don't want to end up in the water.

The top section of the fall

Favorite thing: The top section of the waterfall is interesting in itself as the water doesn't fall straight but bounces off rocks to produce a surprising display.

A: Do you mean perhaps Gullfoss? Selfoss is a rather large town with lots of restaurants.
