Vidgelmir cave is an amazing experience. inside it is solid ice on the floor. the 3hr tour takes you 1 1/2km right to the end, but the 1 hr tour just a little way inside.
Horse riding is available nearby,ask at the Reykholt hotel reception for directions.
Theres 2 waterfalls in the area-Hraunfossar & Barnafoss.
