The Viking Circle/gallery on the Old norse belief.

There is a gallery in a quaint little house in the middle of the lava area just outside of Hafnarfjörður. We went on a Northern light tour and the guide on our tour turned out to be one of the owners of this gallery, and he gave us the guided tour of his gallery which is an art and educational center.This gallery is called Víkingahringurinn or "The Viking Circle" and is a gallery on "The belief in the old Nordic gods" or the belief of our ancestors the Vikings. There is a very interesting scale model there on a theme-park called Sagnagarðurinn or "Sagagarden" based on the mythology, which the owners are planning on building. It explaines the 9 different worlds of the mythology. The owners claim this gallery to be the most "comprehensive gallery of Northern-Europe’s ancient culture, history and beliefs" in the world.They also made Tarot cards called "Tarot of the North", which they made...

We stopped off to look at this odd looking church in Kopavogur. The number one bus from Hafnarfjordur to Reykjavik passes it.
