    On the highway Fjarðarheiði between Seydisfjörður and the town of Egilsstaðir it is a good idea, if the weather conditions are right, to view the countryside of Fljótsdalur from the highest point by the road. You can see the town of Egilsstaðir and the long and narrow lake Lögurinn, and it’s beautiful surroundings.
