Hornio: My waitress, the most beautiful girl in the world

by simonsmart Written Apr 20, 2007 1 reviews

14 April 2007 - The most beautiful girl in the world served me and my friends, but I didn't get her name. If you're reading this, get in touch - we smiled a lot through out the night, please email me, you're amazing and I want to get to know who you really are.

As for the place,.... Great restaurant, lovely setting, excellent food and great value. Not to be missed and well worth a visit for anyone with a medium sized budget.

Favorite Dish: Seafood salad was great.

    Hornid: Italian classic

Cozy italian restaurant, with atmospheric art nuvoe decoration in the windows. They have had the same staff there forever which gives the place authenticity. I've been going here forever and never been disapointed. It's not expensive. I go there with my bf occasionally for a casual night out. For some reason the place reminds me of France, except the food is italian.

Favorite Dish: Instead of parma ham with cantilope they have "hangikjot" which is an icelandic treat. It's basically smoked lamb which is handled similarly to Parma ham/serrano and that stuff. It's good, definately something to try since you won't find it anywhere else in the world)

Hornið is a small but friendly place right in the centre. It has a very home-like feel to it and the pizzas are very good. Friendly staff!

Established 1979. Decor looked charmingly closer to 1879, however. Helpful staff. Menu featured mostly pasta and pizza items.

Favorite Dish: Lamb fillet with mixed vegetables. Succulent and thoroughly tasty!
