At the Skogar Folk Museum you will find all aspects of Icelandic life. The majority of the collection was put together by 82-year-old Pordur Tomasson. He began collecting when he was just 14 years old.
The Folk Museum stores a main museum, various restored farmhouses in the grounds and a museum of transport in Iceland.

When you are in Skogar, you can go to the Skogafoss Waterfall. This Waterfall is 62 meter high.
It is really great to see this enormous waterfall. Especially when there is sun and you will see a rainbow.
