1 Review This is one of the only places near the castle where you can get a meal. There are a few other little shops for postcards etc. A good idea would be to take a picnic basket or some sandwiches if you;re planning to be there over lunch.
Jacksprat Says: If you're planning on being more adventurous to get some good photo's, careful where you step as the rocks can be slippery if it has been raining.
Jacksprat Says: This isn't really an activity, but nice scenary anyway. Just below the castle as you walk up the hill towards it, this little path is to your left.

Cashel Castle in the distance...

This is a good place to pull over on the side of the road if you want to take any pictures of the castle. Once you get close up, you don't get the same effect.
