I think that every village we went through had a church or two. This is Ballyvaughans'.
For some reason, in England, Churches have tended to stop playing their bells. It was an absolute delight to hear them gonging away when we were here.
Favorite thing:
As you travel around, take time to view the statues that you may find outside Churches and, occasionally, alongside the road side. As well as normally being along a religeous theme they are usually aboslutely gorgeous to look at.
Fondest memory:
This one is the Madonna found in the grounds of Ballyvaughan Church.
