If you are travelling around the Burren by car and have a spare half hour to spare (or just happen to be travelling this way), take the N67 road that runs between Ballyvaughan and Lisdoonvarna. On this road, locally known as "corkscrew hill", there is a wonderful look out point high up on the hill that overlooks Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay. The vew is fantastic on a clear day!

Many a drive I made from Galway (Moycullen) to Lisdoonvarna via Corkscrew Hill. What a drive!
