Burren Favorites

Favorite thing: People say that Cliffs of Moher must be seen during the sunset.
First of all, it is quite difficult to see sun in Ireland (joking....a bit :)) so if you are not there several days, you might not have a choice.
I saw Cliffs more than once. For me, they were the most impressive during sunny day with strong wind. Then, the sea makes everything evne mor beautiful. Power of the sea and land together.
I saw also the sunset there. It was really nice. Perhaps I am not that impressed because I am comming from the country with beautiful sunset (Croatia). Anyway, I am sorry we've arrived at the edge of cliffs a minute after the sun already set, but we saw it from the road while arriving. The benefit when you arrive late (in the summer) is that the parking is opened ;). You are not paying it 8 €.

However, Cliffs are 1 of reasons people are going to Burren. If it's foggy day, you will not see anything. That's why it's good to find accomodation somewhere close. In case of bad weather, if the weather changes, you can quickly go there.
