Waterfront is nowadays the only nightclub in Kilkee. Its right next to the roundabout facing Kilkee Bay. If you like dancing it is the place to go. Unfortunately they have plastic glasses where they serve beer and about the toilets.. well dont drink too much! But the athmosphere is nice and there is plenty of room for dancing or sitting down. Make sure you tell the DJ-Mark that Finnish Anna said hi =)

When ordering in a pub, decide what food/drink you'd like, then stand at the end of the bar...waiting for the publican's attention. Place your order, then return to your seat. Someone will bring your food to you.
Also, in the states, you are probably accustomed to having a waiter/waitress stop by to refill drinks, etc. Our first pub stop taught us that if the person serving the food is busy, chances are slim that they are going to come by repeatedly to refill a glass of water or ask if you need more butter. When someone delivers the food and asks if you need anything else, THAT is the time to speak up... otherwise, be prepared to go back to the bar. Just a different culture.
By the same token, don't hesitate to ask for what you need. The service whereever we ate/drank across Ireland was very polite and the servers were happy to get us what we needed.

Wonderful Pub Grub - on a Sunday when everything but the pubs were closed. We filled up and then headed for the cliff walk to stretch our legs and work off some of what we had just eaten.
My Kilkee information is under the title Ireland, as I havent had the time to change it under Kilkee. I had a few years break using VT and during that time they finally put Kilkee in places to travel...
I adore the Irish coast with the cliffs, green fields, rough sea and sometimes cloudy sky.
As ever we end up here out of season due to cheap travel. Great place for walks, amazing rockpools.
