Right next to the airport at Shannon lies a championship golf course. You can play as a guest, and is considered to be a fine inland course.
It does however feature a couple of interesting features. The 17th is considered to be a 'signature' hole with a tee shot that spans part of the Shannon river estuary.
The other feature is of couse the fact that you 'good walk spoiled' will in fact be spoilt by Mr Michael O'Leary and his collection of Boeing taking the unwashed masses to Europe.
I have no idea if there are any bye-laws that pertain to hitting a plane whilst taking a tee shot, but I reckon it is at least possible.
