Entrance to the Cliffs are not free, but it is also not hellish expensive. You have to pass these gates where you pay your entrance fee before continueing along the paths
I thought it was quite funny to find this post box almost in the middle of nowhere. As you leave the carpark to cross the road to the cliffs, you will notice the post box.
The view is absolutely stunning like a picture postcard. Be warned while it's free to observe the views you have to pay for parking in the carpark. Totally recommended for any trip to County Clare.
Here is the tower right near the cliffs. I thought it looked so beautifully stark there, by itself with the cliffs falling down not far behind it.
With hardly a security fence in sight and hundreds of visitors leaning over its edges every day, it comes as a surprise that accidents hardly ever happen here. Breathtaking views on the Atlantic!
In county Clare, the 8km long Cliffs of Moher towers 200m high over the Atlantic ocean. Please, do yourself the favour and visit those cliffs before you leave!
