This nightclub is a spot that I would recommend to a visitor to Cork, who is looking for a nightclub that can be relaxing, chilling, varied and with one dance floor.
You can saunter about here and find a cosy quietened spot, or dance to the groove, sit at one of the bars, or get a couch. There are varied seating arrangements (something to suit everyones level of couchness), fussball table, downfall toy and a few other bits an pieces about to play with.
Price is currently €12 on Saturday nights, free if you are in before ?9pm?? I am not sure about midweek pricing, I am sure it is less.
There is no smoking in Cork pubs now, so note that you can go out to the Beer Garden for a cigarette.
Yeah its hip enough too. And not too crowded.
Detailed Directions:
Coming from Patrick Street, head over Patricks Bridge, continue straight over Bridge Street, you will pass a bank (Bank of Ireland) to your left on this street, and see a shop (Centra) in front ot you and a steep hill (Patricks Hill). At this junction, turn left, and cross to the far side of the road, walk this road, you will stumble across SkyBar on your right. If you have walked up to a junction near Murphys (Heineken) Brewery, you have gone too far. Turn back!
And since nightclubs can change over periods of time....
