Rain, Rain go away
Luggage and bags: Recommend packing just enough to do a carry on bag - it's so much easier and you can do laundry in your room sink. Most rooms will have radiators which you can dry your clothes on.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Definitely comfortable - waterproof shoes. Streets and sidewalks can be a bit slippery - some are uphil which is bad when really wet. We both took shoes made by Born and they held up wonderfully and were comfortable. Pack a rain coat and/or umbrella. If you go in fall - the wind can be pretty chilly definitely take layers because it's chilly outside and warm inside.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Pack light - anything you need to can pick up at Boots the Chemist.
Photo Equipment: Something that doesn't get affected by too much water...

Pack your brolly!!!
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Cork is probably one of the wettest places in Ireland so an unbrella is a must. Don't let that put you off though as it's also one of the sunniest - you just need a brolly for the showers!!
Pop into Pennys or Dunnes on Patrick Street (the main street) for a cheap one if you're forgetful like me and have long since lost your last brolly :)

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: make sure when visting cork you remember a scarf and a good hat to keep your head warm.
it does get very cold.
Miscellaneous: When you arrive in cork make sure you have a bottle to put the cork in .yes thats a terrible joke as well I know .
