  • Funderland at Easter Time

by bobyn Updated Sep 11, 2004

Funderland generally comes to Cork every Easter, and has done so for at least over ten years, (I am not sure sure how much longer).

Usual funfair rides, but worth the crack if you are into them :) And the revolving tea cups, tho' looking and being mild, if not even silly, are sooooo much fun, and silly fun yes, as they bump and swirl you about. Ok so I'm not a heights person ok, I had to poke something out!

    Cork Showgrounds,
    Ballintemple, near Blackrock,
No. 2 Bus Route form Parnell Place to Mahon, ask for Funderland, this will stop at Ballintemple for you.

    Some Rides:
    Big Wheel,
    Mini Roller Coaster,
    Fun Tea Cups,

    Easter Time Only

Take your Camera/Video and save forever memories of the worst road surfaces on Planet Earth !!!

The road to the ferry to Cobh from Passage West is a dirt track.

Be sure to stroll by the River Lee when you're out for a walk(or a Murphy's) in the evening! It is so beautiful with the lights and the twilight...
