take the open bus tour around cork it is very informative giving you the history of cork and events that happened in the differant streets .you get the bus in the grand parade the ticket lasts 24 hours cost 12 euros and you can hop and off at differant points along the way
City bus routes pretty good serving the city centre and suburbs. Morning, lunchtime and evening buses take you to towns in Co. Cork and surrounding counties. Local train service to Cobh and Fota Island.
Cork city is quite hilly, so dont say I didnt warn you! :)
