The Cronin’s Pub is located right at the harbour front in Crosshaven (the former Kenneficks Hotel).
The building is from 1892 and inside the pub you’ll find many artefacts which relate to the local history of Crosshaven. There is also a small exhibition with black and white photos from Crosshaven and Cork.
The food was absolutely fantastic, but there was also a really nice atmosphere in the pub. After our dinner a group of locals started playing traditional Irish folk music, but I don’t know if it’s common?
Favorite Dish: We had a buffet of various seafood: Oysters, mussels, crabs and much more. Absolutely fantastic!!!
Wow! What a unique find in a sleepy fishing village - Asian Fusion Cusine right on the waterfront. The owners, two sisters are fantastic hosts - you feel really special due to their fantasic service but the food is like nothing I've tasted. They combine food from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and all over Asia to give a menu that is truly interesting but very reasonable priced. And to top off the whole experience the restaurant is right on the water - great views of the Ownabue estuary as joins the Atlantic at Cork Harbour.
Favorite Dish: Beef Sate was my favourite. The meat fell off the skewer it was so tender. The mixture of spices in the marinade gave the meat an aromatic and asian flavour without being overpoweringly spicy. With our main meal came rice and a side of stir-fried veg as standard making it really great value for money. The wine list was enticing and with prices that were some of the cheapest I've found in Cork.Related to:

Fusion not only provides wonderful food and a great winde selection, but the view is wonderful from on the deck. Service is excellent as well as the atmosphere. Tanja Buhwalda is a lovely hostess, and always has a smile on her face and something interesting to say. Very kid-friendly and highly recommended!
Favorite Dish: red snapper with fishcakes, tofu and noodle stir-fry and soy chicken are all my favorite
