We went here for dinner shortly after the restaurant/hotel opened under new management/ownership. The food was good (with fresh, not overcooked veggies!) and reasonably priced. What made the evening so enjoyable was the management. They had a band playing which was quite good and when we were leaving, the owner asked us to stay awhile and enjoy the music. She then asked if we would like a glass of wine or anything to enjoy with our music. Since they weren't serving wine in the restaurant, I assumed it would come from the bar, but she went and got a glass from a large group in the restaurant (I presume they were her personal friends). We enjoyed the music for a while and when we left this time, they asked to interview us for what appeared to be a local access TV show. This was my Mom's first trip out of the US to Europe and she loved all the attention. This evening was one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel looked quite nice but we already had a room at the Mill House.
