PACK LIGHT!!!!
one carry-on , and one empty duffelbag - you'll need it for new sweaters, woolens, linens, etc!. good walking shoesraingear3 sets of clothing - you can do laundry anywhere! wear layers to dress up or down No need for formal wear (unless your staying in a 5 star castle) - this is a laidback country! Bring prescription drugs if needed, but everything else you need is readily available! I love my digital camera - no more hassle with hand inspection of film (or worse yet, finding your film is foggy from the scanning radiation!) NEVER pack film in checked luggage!!!! beaches look lovely but water is cold!!!! you can do without swimgear! if American, you might want to bring a washcloth - lots of B&Bs don't provide them (they DO have towels - you just need a faceclothe)
